Newsletter 12th April 2013

12th April 2013
Dear Parents,
I hope you and your family are well. Here is a reminder of some upcoming events:

Launch of Website /Open Night Friday 19th April 7.30p.m. – 8.30p.m. We will be launching our website and hosting an open night. We are very indebted to Cathal O’Brien for all the energy and effort he has put into the formation of the website. We are very excited about the launch and all in the community are very welcome to join us in this celebration. Liam O’Connor, Lisa Ahern and family have kindly agreed to entertain on the night. Pupils are asked to wear full school uniform. Parents are asked to accompany and be responsible for their own children. A big thank you also to all the parents and staff who are helping prepare the school – (cleaning, painting and gardening) and those who are providing refreshments on the night.
Thank you also to the staff who are preparing the children to perform on the night and to display their art work and projects.

So far the oldest past pupil of the school we have been in contact with is Mary Horgan of Edenville, Sheheree, who will be 85 in September. She will be unable to attend on the night unfortunately but sends us her best wishes. We hope to have three generations of the Fleming family at the launch – David and his daughter Sineád ( past-pupils) and Caoimhe who is in 4th class. Please let us know if there are other senior past pupils or generations of Loreto families who would like to attend and make sure to invite them.
